Hays & Sons Founded in 1982

Charles, and his two sons, Mark and Brian, opened the doors at Hays & Sons in June 1982.  This original three-man team quickly acquired a reputation for integrity and quality workmanship in the thirteen counties surrounding Indianapolis. As owner operators, Charles, Mark and Brian specialized in the construction and reconstruction markets with a primary focus on structural insurance repairs.  Charles Hays retired in 1998.

Becoming a Full Service Restoration Business

In 1990 Hays & Sons added water remediation and contents/storage services to its offering allowing them to become a full-service restoration company.  Today Hays & Sons offers the most complete range of specialized in-house restoration services from its 26,000sf state-of-the-art restoration facility.

Growing into New Markets

In 2003 Hays & Sons opened its Lafayette Service Center to cover the 15 counties surrounding Lafayette, IN.  The company expanded next into the 18 counties around Muncie, IN, in 2008, and in 2010 it opened its service center in Crown Point, IN, to cover eight counties in the northwest corner of Indiana and Illinois.

A Lifetime Commitment

Mark and Brian Hays have worked in the construction industry their entire adult lives, when not serving in the military. Having specialized in property reconstruction and restoration since 1982, the Hays brothers have worked extensively throughout the Midwest and Southeast. And with the dedicated effort of the entire Hays & Sons team, they look forward to serving those requiring “disaster recovery” services in the years to come.
